The Texas Commission of Licensing and Regulation adopted an amendment to an existing rule at 16 Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Chapter 61, §61.43; and a new rule at §61.109, regarding the Combative Sports program.
The adopted rules add regulations for the combative sport discipline of bare-knuckle boxing and correct a typographical error in the concentration of adrenaline approved for use in a contestant’s corner.
The adoption justification was published in the June 13, 2025, issue of the Texas Register (50 TexReg 3567). The updated rule chapter will be available in the Texas Administrative Code upon its effective date of June 19, 2025.
